Caterpillar Turns 100

Join us on Tuesday, March 25 as we celebrate this important milestone. Local authors Mark Johnson and Steve Tarter will discuss their new book Tracks Across America – “Caterpillar” Tractors and the Growth of a Nation. Mark Johnson is a retired Caterpillar Inc. engineer and a former President of the Peoria Historical Society. Steve Tarter is a former reporter for the Peoria Journal Star. The authors will share the challenges faced over a decade spent writing and publishing their book, and lead a discussion and question-and-answer session. Signed copies of Tracks Across America will be available for purchase. There will be a cash bar and light refreshments will be provided. The Creve Coeur Club is located at 212 SW Water Street.
