29th Annual Illinois History Symposium“Abraham Lincoln in Ante-Bellum Illinois: 1830-1861" March 26-28, 2009 Call for Papers The Illinois State Historical Society’s 29th Annual Illinois History Symposium, cosponsored by Illinois College in Jacksonville, will be held March 26-28, 2009. The theme is “Abraham Lincoln in Ante-Bellum Illinois: 1830-1861,” and proposals will be accepted through September 30, 2008. Proposals on other aspects of Illinois history will also be considered.
